Imagining the Improbable – A Visit and a Talk by Paige Morgan

The latest in our series of events that walk in the footsteps of William Blake is a visit to the Society of Antiquaries for whom Blake did his first commercial work as an apprentice under Basire.  After a brief tour, Paige Morgan will give a Talk in the historic Council Room on Blake’s fusion of science & fiction with a visionary future :  ‘… he who rejects a fact because it is improbable, must reject all History and retain doubts only.’(Descriptive Catalogue 1809). Paige Morgan is Assistant Editor of Modern Language Quarterly and of The Blake Journal.
