A Talk and Poetry Performance by Ryan Whatley
As the focal poem in the 2011 Tithe Grant Award winner, ‘The Living Principle’, emerging young poet Ryan Whatley presents what he believes is the ‘inculcate appeal’ of William Blake’s thought and poiesis in the late unfinished work ‘The Everlasting Gospel’.
Ryan Whatley was born in Hastings in 1986. He is a contributing writer for ‘On The Wall’ magazine, a publication on Photography and Vision Theory. His poems have featured in Agenda, Magma, Other Poetry and The Rialto. Currently a participant in the ‘Writing for Voices’ programme, a J.A.M and Oxford University partnership, he lives and works in London.
The Annual General Meeting will immediately precede this talk.
