Join The Society
We are a serious but not a stuffy group. Our Society brings together scholars & enthusiasts, amateurs & professionals on equal terms to study & celebrate the genius of William Blake. We have been meeting regularly in London since 1985, with monthly speakers, including many of the most eminent scholars in the field of Blake studies. In celebration of the imagination, the Society invites artist, writers, radicals & mystics to participate in all our projects.
Annual Membership costs £20 or £10 for the unwaged and runs for the calendar year. It is free to register with our website.
The Society is a voluntary organisation and the subscription fee covers the cost of Programmes and postage, the montly Lectures and The Blake Journal which is sent once a year to all members.

As the Blake Society is a Registered Charity in the United Kingdom we are able to take advantage of the Gift Aid scheme. This costs you nothing but allows us to reclaim the tax you have already paid. To qualify you must have paid an amount of UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax equal to the sum Treasury repays us.
