Last year marked the 250th anniversary of the birth of the English poet, artist and visionary William Blake. The Blake Society sees this as an appropriate time to campaign for Blake’s burial place in Bunhill Fields, in Finsbury, to be marked by a suitable memorial just as Thomas Wright was able to achieve for the one-hundredth anniversary of Blake’s death in 1927.
